ONE DAY TO GO: THE OFFICIAL START LIST

2023 winner Elisa Longo Borghini and thesp Olympic Champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot headline the start list of the one and only UCI Women’s WorldTour race in the Middle East.

United Arab Emirates, 5 February 2025 – Just a few hours remain until the start of the 2025 UAE Tour Women, the third edition of the one and only UCI Women’s WorldTour race in the Middle East.

Once again, many of the biggest stars in world cycling will be at the start, led by Elisa Longo Borghini, winner of the historic inaugural edition in 2023. Now riding for UAE Team ADQ, Longo Borghini will have climbing support from Silvia Persico, who finished third in 2023. The reigning Giro d’Italia Women champion will face tough competition from key rivals such as Mavi Garcia, third in 2024, French national champion Juliette Labous, two-time Giro d’Italia Women runner-up Ashleigh Moolman Pasio, and Antonia Niedermaier, a strong favorite for the White Jersey.

Exciting sprint battles are also expected, with European champion Lorena Wiebes, a three-time stage winner at the UAE Tour Women, and Charlotte Kool, who claimed two victories in 2023, among the top contenders. Other fast finishers to watch include Chiara Consonni, Elisa Balsamo, and Vittoria Guazzini.

The start list also features some of the biggest names in the sport, including 12-time world champion and Olympic gold medalist Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, as well as two Paris-Roubaix Femmes winners, Elizabeth Deignan and Alison Jackson.
